BM3 on the 540i
Hey!
I just loaded up the stage 1 (93 octane) and the car changed so much. It is considerably faster, even though I feel like it has a split second of lag. Anyone else get this? Also, will turning up burbles (aggression and duration) clog up and burn the cats quicker? I heard that somewhere but I'm not sure if its true or not. Feel free to share any BM3 tips and tricks, since its my first time using it, I'd love to hear your tips! |

Its not recommend it to turn up the burble on stock cats, they do put more pressure on it. If you want louder burble, consider getting a downpipe.
There should not be any lag, but you can always send a log to PTF to check it out

Alright, I'll put the burles back to OEM (I had them on the lowest aggression/duration setting) but just in case I'll get put them back to OEM until I get my catless downpipe.
The "lag" seemed to clear up after a day of driving, I think the car is adapting. If I notice anything I'll send a log to PTF. Thanks a lot, Mike! |

Great to hear the BM3 works well. I picked up a used JB4 until I go full flash and BM3 is most likely my direction as I like to tune the car myself.

You'll love BM3 when you get it. It lets you tweak all the little things that you just can't get to with JB4, and overall is a really solid flash
