When I have Logic7 selected the radio volume is way too high at all but the lowest level. Can't carry on a conversation, it's so loud. I have the speed volume set at the lowest and that is also too loud! Turning off Logic7 helps... a little. I have the eq set like a V, but all above the midpoint.

Any suggestions for adjusting the settings to level that won't make my ears bleed? Even at my age, I have exceptional hearing and very, very little loss.

Suspect this is manipulating the sound so I think I’m terms of quality it’s better to turn off and not have the music “processed

I have logic7 and don't seem to have that issue. Hmm. Have you checked if all your speakers are working?

They're all working. It's just incredibly loud. Anything over about 1% with Logic7 activated doesn't allow conservation in the car; the volume is at 1 on the volume bar. I have the sound stage set pretty much at the middle of the right, rear seat. I like a little more rear-bias.

I have deactivated Logic7.

I believe I solved the problem. I flattened the equalizer and then turned on Logic7. I did turn the treble & bass up a couple if "notches;" everything seems much better.
