Quad tips on m550 easily done?
i was just wondering if anyone has been able to remove the trapezoid tips and install quad tips without spending $3k on a full replacement exhaust? Then cheaply remove all the resonators for a cheap quad exhaust that sounds good.
Does anyone know of a good but affordable axle back exhaust which could be complemented by resonator delete?

it's just idea of spending $3k+ on an exhaust is tough to swallow. I thought maybe a resonator delete + new quad tips would be easy and cheap but apparently not.
My other thought was getting a used f90 m5 comp exhaust with resonator delete would be a lot cheaper than a full replacement aftermarket exhaust.

I'm trying to find a solution to remove the existing tips and install quad round tips - also w/o going for something expensive like a Dinan exhaust retrofit. I'd welcome any ideas.

Wow, I hadn't realized how expensive exhausts have gotten. I only paid $2600 for my catback ACS exhaust back in 2018 and did a quick search to find it for close to $5000 today...
