Got a 330i, but is it a mistake

Guys

I got my 330i two weeks ago.
Now I see most people got 325i.......not 330i.
Am I stupid or something?

I test drove both, and I didn't feel big different between the two.
The reason I went to 330i is because after getting power seat and sunroof on a 325i, the price of the car is very close to the 330i.

Did I make a mistake and wasted my money?

Also, does anyone notice there is a little sqeezeing noice coming from the back seat?

Oh, please God no. Not another thread inviting comparisons between the 325 and 330!

youngtechman - Don't feel like you wasted your money. The 330i offers things that the 325i does not. I'm very happy with my 325i and 325xiT, but I would never be dumb enough to say that there isn't more in a 330.

Don't have remorse - you did good. And welcome to the forum!

This is really silly. Dude you need to have more conviction about your decisions .. especially when they involve a 40K purchase.

You got the 330? Are you nuts? Nobody gets a 330 on this board. Anyone who recommends a 330 or indicates that they own a 330 is a plant by BMW. You were actually suckered into buying a 330?

You made a HUGE mistake. Only BMW execs buy 330's. You can tell who is a real BMW poster/owner if he/she has a 325. You wasted some big bucks my friend.

Also, does anyone notice there is a little sqeezeing noice coming from the back seat?
The sqeezeing noice from the back seat is only common with the 330. It's a constant complaint. Are you sure you're not a BMW exec posing as a poster/owner? I smell a conspiracy here.

?

30hp more is a big difference for lifting up a heavy E90 and you and your other added passengers will enjoy a smoother ride and win on some situations on the highway. At least, I read that the exhaust sound of 330i is sportier.

FYI, in Asia, the 325i is a 2.5 litre engine with same hp but ~15% less torque. It serves well for lower car tax in many countries and it is significantly better fuel economy. It costs $6000 less than the 330i but 325i comes without Xenon. 2.5 litre cars are always more popular in the resale market. The USA 325i is a detuned 3-litre engine without the 3-stage intake system like the 330i.

You didn't 'feel' the difference because you have got the more powerful 330i , it may not, if it was the other way.
You casn always go back and test drive a 325i to prove that you were right/wrong.

Enjoy it being as a E90 owner, and see the E46 guys mouth watered in long years to come.

wtf... you feel like you made a wrong purchase because everyone has 325??

No offense, but that just sounds stupid to me. Why does it matter.
Now, if you passed on E90 and bought a civic thinking thats a better choice
because there are alot more civics on the road, THATS a stupid decision.

What you are doing is "stupid thinking". No, you did not make a bad decision.
325 or 330, both awesome cars. Only difference between them is power.

Go grab yourself a beer, chill, and enjoy your beautiful 330i.

Buying the 330i you get a whole lot of options not available on the 325i to start off with, in a way its like a value pack

The sunroof may only be standard in the US. I think it's an option over in Europe and may be in other places such as Canada.

No, definitely not. The 330i has more standard features.
