I have a new m550 order being placed. Premium, drivers assist pro, shadow line etc.
Park assist was not an option during build on bmwusa. I saw threads with sales people manually adding ZPK Parking Assistant Package.

My broker is trying to figure out if it's available. I've gotta have the 360 cams.

Can ZPK Parking Assistant Package be added to 2022 m550 orders? Has anyone done this recently and what's the process?

Anyone have a recent 2022 m550 order with drivers assist plus able to verify 360 cameras were included?

I have an M550i on order. It was originally a dealer's stock order (status 112) and included the park assistance package. The dealer placed the order prior to the PAP being pulled from the configurator. We tweaked the order to fit my needs and it is now in status 150 with my name on it. So far, the PAP with 360 camera is still in place along with the specific options I selected. If it is not built that way, I will not accept it.

I am not sure if there is a difference between purchasing a dealer stock order in status 112 or just ordering from scratch. Some have said that dealers can order options that are not currently listed on the website but my specific dealer said no to that.

It was manually added by my sales advisor late September and car is in production M550i

You'll need to have ZPK added. The package was missing for a bit, but it's back in the ordering system and can be added as long as you aren't in 150.

It's still not in the online configurator. Are you saying the dealer / CA can add this into an existing order?

You can add it in the BMW ordering system, not the build your own/online configurator. Talk to your client advisor to add it.

This is very interesting. Is the dealers ability to add PAP a new development? Two weeks ago both Minneapolis dealers told me the PAP could not be added to a new order. Neither had one in 112 status that was not already sold. I went to another dealer 90 miles away who had a 550 in 112 status with the package so I got that one. The Minneapolis dealers lost a sale....apparently due to lack of knowledge....or bad timing.

I recall having one in status 47 (order bank) when the parking assistance was not available in the system. We got an allocation and it moved to 111, and the parking assistance package appeared some time after that and we added that to the order. But it definitely was like that for some time.
