Appreciate the link. I already have black grills - it's the chrome ring around each one I am looking for. They must be out there somewhere!

The surround around (redundant?) the vertical slats is chrome. Mine is (chrome) and I'm seriously contemplating changing the chrome for cerium.

The slats and the trim are a single piece. However, there are covers you can buy that just cover the outer ring but the only ones I've seen are carbon fiber. When the rest of us get black grills were getting the single piece replacements, not covers.

Thanks for the response RonronEG. Can't imagine they not two different pieces since they are two different plastics in color and gloss. That said, it may be quicker and, price wise, close enough to get the whole assembly.

I'm looking at doing this on my pre-LCI 2020 M550i.

I see the original poster mentioned in the amazon review that these wouldn't work if you had the camera attachment? I have the camera in the centre between the grills, but unsure if that is what they mean?

I assume also they work with the active grills?

You are fine, Pre-LCI grills are two piece and will abut the existing center camera plate. The LCI's have a one piece grill where you need to get one for a camera if you have one.

Unrelated, many knock off double slat M5 like grills will interfere with the active grills.

Got these on Amazon for my 2020 M550i If you are looking for gloss black. Single slat, perfect fit, snug no wiggle at all. Not sure why on AmazonConfirmedFit it says it doesn't fit our MY2020, but maybe Amazon thinks our model year is LCI. I contacted seller and they confirmed it fit. Probably easiest mod (2 minutes) and (to me) a must.

What exhaust tips you used ? Maybe you have link from where you bought them ? If not, do you know their outlet , inlet size ?
