2020 530i Military Price
Looking for some opinions about the below pricing that is being offered to Active Duty Military serving in Germany. Also a follow-up question…is there a general rule of thumb people use to determine the residual value after say 2 years? Is 70% - 75% a safe assumption? My thinking is to purchase this vehicle at this already low price and then potentially sell or trade it in for close to the purchase price when I will have to move again in 2 years.

What .. no Oil Slick, or Front Fender Machine Gun options? .. hmm, the Germans have lost their way.
Seriously though - any time you can get mid 20% discounts you can't complain I think. |

doubt you'd be able to sell it at your purchase price in 2 years, unless you only put on very low miles (<10K). Check used prices of 2017 530s...
If you can get a similar discount on a 2yr lease, might be the way to go |

Used 2017 530is currently are in the $30K-$40K range, depending on mileage, options and overall condition. This is why I bought mine CPO in early 2018, 9 months old with full warranties and a nearly 25% discount from original sticker which meant I skipped the first year depreciation.
