Deal and color

Hi,
New to the forum. I am looking to place a new build 530xi and getting off close to 8.5k usd on 65k build. Is this a good deal. This is for purchase and not lease. I am fine doing some down payment like 5-10k.

Appreciate if some can help.

Another question please — I am not seeing Dakota in beige interior in 2021 model. Can I wait for few more months to see if 2022 models come up with beige in dakota leather.
Thanks for your time.

It is very rare for them to change the leather color for just a year change. In my opinion, there is no chance they do that.

Thank you for your reply. Beige comes in Dakota leather from 2017 to 2020. When the perforated sensatech introduces in 2021, beige comes only with sensatech and took off from Dakota.

Any idea about deal price?

Thank you.

The 8.5k off is not too bad, make sure that is before incentives. Also, I wouldn't put more than 1k down. If the car is totaled, you won't see that money again.

Thank you for reply.
Total 8.5K, so I belive this is including incentives.

MSRP is 65K, which is about 13% off including incentive, or 9% plus 2.5K incentive appx.
Can some one help if this is good deal. Based on your reply, I see 8.5K off from 65K including incentives is not a good deal. Please help.

I also need help if it is better to wait few more months for 2022 model. Can we get similar discounts for 2022 model around September timeframe.

Thank you.

Looks like you're at about 9.2% off MSRP, which sounds like a pretty decent to me. Unless people are specifically aware of 530xi's getting much higher discounts than other models, which could be the case I suppose. You could try pinging a broker and seeing what they can do for comparison.

This is a solid deal. I went through a friend of a friend for a 540 at the end of April, who I trust would be giving me a good offer off the bat, and it was 9.38% before incentives. I think a little over 9% is about as good as gets at the moment.

I did shop it around to be sure it was a good offer, and the best anyone could do was match it and add some extra bs fee to get there.

That only applies if you have gap insurance. If not, you're screwed either way (just screwed more, I guess).

You should definitely get some kind of gap insurance on these cars - they depreciate horribly the first couple of years, and you'll be seriously under water.

As for the deal, that sounds very good.

I looked at a new 2021 with the sensatec, and if I had not seen it on the window sticker, I would have presumed that it was the Dakota leather. If you want beige, then save yourself some money and just go with the fake stuff.
