Cleaning digital cluster? Smear marks
I've tried using lens cleaner to wipe the digital cluster but still smears as it dries literally immediately leaving no time to wipe the excess. Even tried squirting a small amount on a mf cloth. Any suggestions?

I use microfiber cloth dampened with diluted dishwashing soap to remove the grease, then wipe with dry MF cloth. Alternatively, clean/polish gently using auto detailing spray or spray wax (spray on the cloth and not the screen, of course). I've found that any lens cleaner that contains alcohol tends to leave a haze. Plastics/vinyl protectors leave streak marks, too.

I just use slightly damp microfiber cloth and wipe gently. I deal with a lot of pollen and am conscious of micro scratches. Just wipe real lightly. Always hesitant to use any chems at all on any of the displays.

I never use glass cleaner on the screens. For me so far, I've had good luck with Plexus, which is designed for plastics.

2 clean microfibers, with the first one spray a good amount of invisi glass spray on it, and quickly wipe and clean the entire digital cluster. Immediately after with the dry microfiber dry buff all of the residue off and get every nook and cranny. |

So went back to a smeared cluster with a dry Kent glass mf cloth. Seems to have gotten rid of the smear marks. Will see how it looks when the suns back out.
Also ordered a ecloth glass and polish cloth. Don't look forward to cleaning it again!!! |

Urghhhh...this took me ages! I ended up using a steam cleaner on the lowest setting and a micro fibre cloth. Took ages to get it perfect...
