Excellent choice, sir (on both accounts)! I've had the B8 for a few years and love it. Most Lum Tec watches are crazy in price these days...in my humble, irrelevant opinion.

The lume is great, though. The watch has held up well in abusive environments. It's been banged on more than a few airframes and gotten JP8 and oils on it and still runs fine....well...up until the battery died recently. Here's an old pic of mine.

Replacement optics for a Mk.12 Mod 2. Just got this back from USO for an internal artifact. The mount is a LaRue OBR LT111.
