Question on mild hybrid drive

Sorry if this was discussed elsewhere but I did not see it on a search. i am confused about the mild hybrid: In my 2022, which I just bought, I do not have the start/stop button under the engine start button.. Does the engine actually still do a stop/start at times with that mild hybrid system? If so, is it only while in Eco?

You still have S&S. Only, because of the 48-volt battery's precense, you no longer ‘feel’ the stops/starts because the battery propels the car for that short time. It's much smoother and more pleasant. If your meters are in ‘rpm counter’ mode and not in "power reserve", you can see when your engine has stopped.
