Suntek vs Expel PPF
Anyone have experience with Suntek PPF ? I'm getting my Telluride wrapped on 11 December and the owner of the detail company is leaning me toward Suntek. They offer both Expel and Suntek and he told me to research it, which i've done.
The Porche gang seem to like Suntek over Expel and from what I've read the top reason is Suntek is more "clear" over Expel and does not have the orange peel Expel produces. Thoughts ?

I have Suntek on the hood of my Supra and Xpel everywhere else. I’ve also had Xpel on many other cars. I prefer the Xpel. It’s slightly thicker and imo has better protection. I’ve had a few penetrations of the Suntek film that has left me displeased with it.

I had the same choice and went with XPEL on a white vehicle. This same car previously had 3M and I just love the XPEL. I’m happy but I don’t have any Suntek experience.

ditto to the above. On a white Porsche 911. Windshield forward. Did it on a 2009 Nissan GT-R super silver, but only the front half of the hood and the line was so evident that I decided that needed to do whole front on next car. Dealer recommendation could be affected by things like profit margins and/or ease of application. A thinner film may go over compound curves better, for instance.

People preferred Xpel on the viper forum. They were reporting less yellowing and harder to penetrate.
