Hello All,

I want to make you all of aware of people acting like a seller of an item but are not the seller. Not the seller will try to scam you out of your money! They usually will Target people who respond to member's post on an item that is being sold. They will even use photos from the original post to scam you.

I know this as I was scammed out few hundred dollars for an item that I was interested in buying. Please use Payal to pay for item as you have a better chance to get your money back vs using Zelle or Venmo or Cashapp.

This is the info I have on my scammer:
Username: WayExtra
Actually name: Anthony Cushingberry
Email address: tcushingberry@yahoo.com
Phone: 805-978-5616 (not sure if this number is still valid!)

Let's keep this thread alive by adding other scammers so we are can keep this community safe!

First off, thanks OP for the heads up. I've read a few other seller scams going on in the M5 forum as well.

Now for some fun......LOL
I remember using Napster in the late 1990s to download an unlocked MS Windows 1998. It literally took 3 or 4 days at dial up speed to finish the 350MB.

I was more Limewire lol but Napster always reminds me on the guy on The Italian Job saying he was the "Real Napster"

This is happening to my listinng currently, somebody is messging the people asking about the splitter i am selling and telling them to text them... and then the people are saying i am a fraud... ( i would never messege anybody seperatley and give my cell number i would keep everything on the forum)

Bro that sucks! I think we need to start saying "if I don't a message you back then don't respond to anyone else". I can't believe we need to even say that nowadays

You are dating yourself (and me) and making me reminisce! I used to sit down every Saturday morning and download music off napster and load it on my Diamond RIO which held a wopping 10-12 songs! I never downloaded programs and OS's, I had online friends who would send me OS's and Games burned to CD, haha. 56k modem days!

Man those were the days!! Napster wow that brings back memories!! I still remember the 14.4 modems days!! 😜🤪
