21" 718M wheels on M550i?
Happy and Merry, Y'all!
I am currently running 20" 668Ms on my 2018 M550i but I really miss the look of 21s (had them on my F10 M5). I don't want to spend $10k on custom forged wheels again, though. It recently occurred to me that the X3 M540i offers 21" wheels with very similar offsets to the G30 wheels. Has anyone tried this? X3: Front Wheels - 8.5 ET:30. Rear Wheels - 9.5 ET:43. M550: Front Wheels - 8 ET:30, Rear Wheels 9 - ET:44. |

Increase the height of the tires and you can use those rims comfortably. Like 255/35/21 + 285/30/21 or 245/35/21+275/30/21 which is about the same height as 245/40/20+275/35/20, a commonly used size by other owners in this forum.
