Looks like a mild refresh of the current car. Calling this thing beautiful, excellent design, unbelievable, WOW, is just too much. Seriously. Look at it. So predictable and boring. No imagination or pushing the envelope in design, nothing inspiring. BMW, PLEASE get another design team. Your cars are ugly and boring now.

The headlights look great to me - classy, but complex like the backside of a high end watch. The taillights fix what I didn't like about the F10 - it felt like they drew in lines just to have lines, while the G30's lights look sleek and complicated - though I'm not sold on the blinkers being so humongous. All in all, I'm in love. I'll test drive the 540ix as soon as it's in the showroom, and if it passes there, then I'll be one of the first in line for the M550i. Thanks for all the work you put into the renderings over the last couple months, by the way. Now get to work on the M5! |

It's a car primarily for business-suit wearing types who want to enjoy their drive, not for rapper types, and the design follows. That being said, the aftermarket, and BMW M Performance, will surely offer ways to make it suit anybody's taste - but remember that the F10 sold 2+ million copies BECAUSE of it's understated nature, not DESPITE it. |

Not as good looking as the F10, but that's a hard act to follow. It still looks greats. Too bad it won't cost e with manual transmission.

This vehicle is gorgeous! None of the leaked photos or renders did it any justice. From the M550 down to the 520d, with or without M Sport, they all look great. I wouldn't say that about any other vehicle in current line up except the 230/240/m2.
Ugh, now I'm considering this as my next car. |

I was really looking forward to this car and hoping for 4.0 liter. Annual taxes here for anything over 4.0 liter is just crazy.

Definitely evolutionary design but still looks way better than all the other cars in the segment.
Interior is a step above current 5 and now probably the best in the segment. I loved my F10 535i and happy to see BMW not mess up the new one. Can't wait to build one online and new M5 will be a monster!

BMW have not disappointed with the new 5.. The exterior is sleeker and sportier .. I’m one of the few who like the rear
As for the interior some great techs there but I’m still not convinced about the screen sticking out.. I have that on my F80 and feel it’s out of place "Specs" are interesting, especially on the 550i.. This car is going to be a beast so I can’t yet imagine how good the M5 is going to be I was considering switching to AMG at the end of my lease but after seeing the new 5 will probably wait for the next M5.. It’s going to be long wait |
