Just installed my Racechip and went for a quick ride. There is definitely a difference even just from the "seat of pants" feeling. I will try and do some Draggy tests and see how it performs with the Racechip in different modes and even completely off.

I've had my car on corner weights while setting the geometry. 1880kg / 4130lbs. Mine has no heavy options mind (e.g. sunroof)

That was with forged wheels and non run flat tyres also. Right Off the production line with no fluids, i think the lightest an M550i could ever be is 1830kg Fully optioned up with fuel, oil and wiper fluid, most will be rolling at ~1950-2000kg |

Mines been on calibrated corner weights. 1908kg with about a 3rd of a tank, tools and kids isofix seats. I took all the stuff out after and put them on parcel scales - 40kg. So I was looking at 1870kg. This is with forged lightweight wheels and a lighter exhaust. Weight bridges tend to round up to the nearest 20kg so I would say your numbers look about right.

When I go next I’ll see how big the increments are. It was at the drags so maybe they are more accurate than a typical weighbridge. |
