Was about to post as well!
Porsche being very classy! Mercedes not so much, even twisting some facts but oh well I'll try and translate a bit: Porsche: The future presents us with great challenges. We will face them with "Sheer Driving Pleasure". Porsche bows for 100 years of captivating automobile history and congratulates BMW cordially with it's anniversary.” Mercedes: "Thank you for 100 years of competition" The video also adds: "The previous 30 years actually were a bit boring" A bit cocky and also counting the days before Mercedes and Benz were joined. Reminds me of the health BMW-MB competitiveness in ads from a few years ago Also all BMW AG employees can visit the Mercedes Automobile Museum for free from the 8th 'til the 13th of March! With free parking right in front of the Museum Website: https://www.mercedes-benz.com/en/mer...art-to-munich/ |

Ya... I don't see this as trolling.
Unlike most car enthusiast, people in the car industry doesn't really hate one another. It's called good competition.

There's a big & dirty twist to MB's ad...
It actually admires itself by showing its own brand in the youtube ad and newspaper ad and no sign of BMW's roundel...(only the kidney grills). Also that it implicitly says we are 30 years older... I don't see any positive in this ad...they have been very cheeky, sneaky and sleazy about it: http://www.businessinsider.com/why-m...irthday-2016-2 http://blog.caranddriver.com/on-the-...hat-its-older/ Last edited by Shaw; 03-17-2016 at 02:24 PM.. |
