bmw smog check problem

yoyom3 Private First Class 17 Rep 114 Posts Drives: 2009 BMW 750i Join Date: Sep 2011 Location: Los Angeles iTrader: (4)	bmw smog check problem hi everyone , i just purchase a used 2009 bmw 750i with 38k miles i went to do smog check today n this thing come out the guy said it may be the last owner reset the engine light or remove the battery to cause this and he asks me to drive about 100 miles to see if the engine light will come on anyone has any idea?
