Anyone dealt with the dealership in the brisbane CBD?
They want over $2300 to do the rotors front and rear on my 335i e92 and another $800 to do a service. Car is almost at 60 000kms now. Not sure who to trust around this area to be honest

get a quote from Comet... will definitely be cheaper... generally around 20 to 30% as a rule of thumb.... so thats a fair bit of extra cash in your back pocket!

Get it online my dude and find a good indie to install it, don't know of any in brisbine but I've seen a few people post good comments about indies up there. Definitely don't pay 2300, they cost about 200 front 200 rear approx. And what is the 800 service they wanna do? Sounds like a BMW oil change lol, anyway find out and get the parts online. For something like plugs, brake pads and coils super cheap auto price match online overseas prices, if you can find a someone local that can do that for u then awesome!

They generally don't, but the one down the road from my place do it for me coz me and my brother always get shit from there, also try autobahn, they price matched online as well without even looking, good customer service there tho they go out of their way to find you the right part

I just recently change disc and pad on our 530d 2006 with Pedders suspension. I went with akebono ceramic pad with EBC disc for $1500 with brake fluid all installed. Initial bit was a bit disappointing at new but is getting much better settling in and should only get better. Brake dust is not noticeable anymore after 2 weeks driving on it and very quite.
If u want braking power, stock pad and disc are still a good option but very costly and dusty. I found the akebono a good balance between longevity, noise, dust, price and stopping power. Apparently pedders recon that it should last over 100,000ks and the disc is machinable but only time will tell.
