So, I have ALL the errors!

So I went for a drive today, did about 30kms, not much then parked her for 10 minutes drove again for 10 minutes and now I have this come up after trying to start it. (See attached)

The car starts and idles fine, revs fine but as soon as I put it in gear and try to move it cracks it. Put it in park and then the gear shifter is locked out.

What the hell has happened to my baby? It's an 07 335i auto with 135,XXX KMS on the clock.

The idrive screen shuts off when this comes up, none of the electrics work except for the horn and the Angel eyes (no head lights though), and to get the idrive display to show up I have to turn the car off but leave the keyfob in.

So, is she fucked hard?

So you can't drive it at all? (it locks you out when you select drive?)

Sounds like a possible transmission control module may have shat itself.

Get yourself a good independent bmw mechanic (Jin @ AM!!) https://www.facebook.com/activemotorwerke

Expect a hefty bill but it's possible to keep costs reasonable by using used parts where possible (try the uk as bmw's are dime a dozen there and the breakers sell parts at half the price here)

Can't drive it at all.

Fuck. To say I'm shattered is an understatement. Had the car for just over 3 months. Like... A week over.

Meh shit happens mate and it's unfortunate, and have heard of similiar issues on low mileage cars also!

Sounds like you will have to tow it, and I highly recommend getting it towed to the guys @ AM!

Will do.

Just a thought, how long does everyone's battery last when the car is off and the radio is playing? Mine lasts about 30 seconds before telling me that the battery voltage is very low. Could a borked battery cause issues? Car starts no worries though, so I'm not sure.

Only lasting 30 seconds with radio on and ignition off happened to me when I first had my car. Bluetooth always drops out the second you switch off the ignition as well?
Battery is old and needs replacing. Probably has the original fitment battery in it.
No idea if they may contribute to some of the other failings but I had a battery guy tell me that he's heard of a cooked battery causing trans slips n stuff as well.
Good luck.

Did you read the codes and then clear the error codes with diagnostic software first, the battery needs to be 90ah or higher for a 335i which needs to be coded if different from the original.
