Sport or non-sport if U plan suspension upgrade?

I just wonder, whether it would not be better for me to withdraw my sport package from the order, if I plan to put on B16 or PSS9 and front/rear sway (+ front strut) right after I get my 335i (together with Quaife, of course).

Is it a good idea? What will I miss not having a sport package after I replace that stuff? I mean except the speed limiter, it will be defeated by a piggy anyway, so nothing to worry. Or does the sport suspension/sways have any considerable resale value to bring some money back?

You may want to still consider keeping the sport package unless you plan on changing the seats too. Just something to consider.

Are the base suspension components (other than the shocks/springs/struts) the same as the sport package (meaning same control arms, bushings, sway bar diameter)?

My vote is go non-sports pick up a set of recaro or status seats (hit me up if you need a quote), and then do your own suspension whichever you like KW or Bilstein, and a LSD, maybe some sways. Complete suspension work

+1 get a SPORTS PKG.

Sport pkg is not just suspension thing, they got sports seat, thicker wheel etc.. I really regret too that I didnt got mine. I am even thinking to trade in my car and buy a new one now..(even i have KW V3)

i'd get it unless you will swap seats and replace coilovers with aftermarket products.
if i were you, i'd get it.

imo much better to get it first and then you can decide which parts to part with...

Although you probably already know, here's the Sport Pkg options:

*Star Spoke (Styling 162) light-alloy wheels, 18 x 8.0 front, 18 x 8.5 rear; 225/40R-18 front, 255/35R-18 rear run-flat1 performance tires12
8-way power front sport seats with adjustable back bolsters, 2-way manual headrests and thigh support; driver memory for exterior mirror and seat positions

*3-spoke leather-wrapped multi-function sport steering wheel with audio and Bluetooth phone2 controls

*Sport suspension calibration

Keep in mind that the steering wheel alone costs a few hundred bucks and is better than the regular wheel. Also, IMO the power seats alone w/o the steering wheel make the pkg worth the price. Although as Ron said you could get after market seats, I doubt you could find some Recaro's or similar seats, with multi-function power, and for a pair, for the cost upgrade of the Sport Pkg.

You could also sell the wheels/tires after you upgrade to offset the cost of the Sport pkg too

Just more to think about

I have forgotten about the interior part of the package. Anyway both the seats and steering wheel can be ordered separately, 620 resp. 210 EUR.

The wheels dont bother me too much, I want 17" for winter anyway.

Tried to count it and found out that it's really questionable whether it's worth of the effort. EUR 2750 is the whole package, seats and s.wheel 830, M-Aero bumpers and lips dunno, but not really cheap - it's close.

So nevermind. I'll order the SP, put coilovers, F/R sways, wheels/tires and try to sell the replaced parts afterwards.

Thx for your responses and opinions

Julius
