E92 Hood Differences between LCI and Pre-LCI

Hey there so I've seen this question asked several times. If rather swap out my headlights than just pop in new AE eyes. I have a 2007 335xi. I know the bumper needs to be changed for the newer headlights. I'm fine with that and want to get a 1M style bumper for LCI e92 so I can put in LCI headlights. However the hood look pretty much the same to me on the e92. Yes I know they are different on e90 but I've looked and haven't found a definite answer for e92. Any answers would be appreciated.

Hood, grills, headlights will need to be changed. And if you're going to change headlights, you'll need a new FRM3 module..and even then lights won't work 100%.

It's basically a big (and expensive) headache.

That guy needs to stop spamming old threads for selling his aftermarket hood. Stick to the Classifieds section.

I've done the LCI conversion, the LCI E92 hood is actually longer than the Pre-LCI.
As you know the bumper needs changing and you will defo need an FRM3 and if coded the lights will work perfectly. I am still waiting for an FRM3 to arrive to finish

Nice man. I decided not to do it. Too much work, too much money. Going to probably just send my lights to oss or oneighty one of these days. It'll get me a closer look to the lci lights on the e92

Fair enough, I only done it because I was doing an M Sport conversion so it was worthwhile. Yup they work wonders on the pre lci lights
