Mr Tire Road Hazard Insurance

FYI - for those balking at the $1200 for tire/rim insurance, I just insured my tires for $200. Covers punctures, breaks, cuts, vandalism, etc. They prorate the cost of a replacement based on tread. This seems like a reasonable policy considering one tire costs 300 each to replace.

I didn't buy tires from them - just drove it up and they took the tread and serial number. Found out this was possible based on five3three's advice.

Any thoughts on the offer/deal/price?

I posted a similar warranty a while back from CJ's Tires I got for $60 ($15 per). Think they're local to PA though so maybe no similar deals available elsewhere.
