JB4 Help

Anyone in the bay Area (San Mateo) who can help out with the JB4, I have never done and can probably go at it myself...but it's always nice to have someone who has done it

Thanks

What tools did you need? And how long did it take? Difficulty? I've been trying to find the time to install mine, but with work I've been to busy.

small screw flat driver to pull out the connectors from ECU, i believe the socket was an 8mm and not much more. I actually replaced the spark plugs as well since I did not want to get mis-fires. You can pull the PDF from burger tuning and it tells you what you need, they also have a video which skips a few steps but it is very helpful.

Difficulty depends on the individual to be honest, I am a mechanical engineer and have been a mechanic for robotic equipment so it was fairly easy. I think my biggest fear was messing with the ECU connectors.

I also purchased the bavarian technic scanner so that help check for codes and clear them, but I actually never got any. I did have my battery die on me a couple of weeks ago and the tool was awesome to clear all codes after re-charging it

Good luck
