Turbo systems cosworth..
After info, have tried various ford forums no-one seems to have a clue. EVEN tried emailing Turbo systems myself with no reply
They made a few sierra sapphire cosworths (not sure when) they were white with tiger stripes. Im after when they were built (year) and to what spec. i have searched ''googly'' thing but its not really helped. I just want to know how many were made, to what spec and in what yaer. if anyone can help/find anything it would be much appreciated. Thanks Carlos

Apparently the number plate is that of Turbo Systems original demonstrator. The tuning packages offered for the 2wd and 4wd cossies are here: http://www.turbosystems.co.uk/products_frames.htm I can't find anything about the particular car that was modelled, but you could always phone them and ask |

I know of turbo-systems very well - the car you describe I used to see every day! It was their demonstrator car and they were based on the next business park to where I used to work in Newcastle (Staffs). They used to use the stretch of A34 from Newcastle to Talke as their demo run, lol! Seen the Escort cossie and Sierra Cossie thrapped up and down many times. Used to be able to hear the engine roar and fierce dump valves going past the unit we were based in. They had many features in Performance Ford magazine - might be worth trying them? I remember them as cover cars several times back in the days when I was a Ford fanboy |

The number is 01782 564222 Also try these guys: http://www.rsownersclub.co.uk/ Their site says that there were 5542 Sierra Cosworths in total and production started in 1986. You just need to find out how many Turbo Systems have tweaked. |
