2014 328i xDrive Headlights
Car will be delivered in about 2 weeks....getting very excited..
Had a quick question for you guys - on the 2014 328i xDrive with sportline, is the white headlight standard? What I mean is on some cars that you see during the day the entire headlight has the led white light with no sign of the yellow turn signals....while some do....I was wondering whether this is because of the difference in model years or was some kind of option...clearly i didnt do enough research before ordering the car.. Thanks! |

The bright led halos are your drl. You can turn your lights to drl manually which will turn on yellow turning signals and also rear lights.
So if you only see halos on. The setting is on automatic and the rear lights are all off. If you see yellow turn signals on also, it is manually set with rear lights on as well. |

FYI...you may have seen coded vehicles as you can code the car so the orange turn signals only ignite (turn on) when you activate the turn signal from the stalk on the steering column. this is for both the DRL and the full headlight system (i.e. at night).
you may also have seen cars that have swapped their stock orange bulbs for aftermarket clear/led/etc. In this case even when the signals are not ignited, they also don't have the orange "egg yolk" look to them. LSB |
