What is going on?! (video included)

Turned the air-con on today and noticed that the air was nowhere cold enough and then noticed that the rpms started jumping when I was at a traffic light (it's an auto, so I am holding the brakes down), as you can see on the video. At around 12s, the air coming out of the vents becomes warm.

Any ideas?

Video is private.

Of course, what you describe immediately suggests something along the lines of thermostat or water pump, but I actually don't believe it's either - they definitely wouldn't explain the RPMs jumping. Maybe if you had a leak in your AC system, the engine would throttle up thinking the compressor needed more power.

Yeah, sorry. I noticed and fixed it already. Don't know why it decided to upload as a private video.

thanks.

BTW, Forgot to report that this was related to the overpressurised aircon. The guys that did it for me put almost twice the required amount of gas in.

Thanks for updating! Makes perfect sense, though I'd never have guessed.

Yeah, took me awhile to figure it out. I had a really loud engine fan as well. Found one post after a lot of searching suggesting that it COULD be a excessive pressure. Took it in to a local aircon specialist a month ago and told them what was happening. They, tbh, doubted it had anything to do with the pressure, but then called me and told me the fan was back to normal. Gave a report when I got the car back. Can't believe I spent the whole summer without the aircon, because of such incompetence.

So, yeah, I thought I should share this in case anyone is in the same situation.
