might sound like a silly question, but if the steering wheel is swapped, will it just be plug and play? meaning will the buttons work and all?

1. non active cruise control
2. not heated.

ya dude seems like the silliest trade ever...msport steering wheel is half the reason i went with the package over sport lol

For me I purposely didn't get the M sport because I felt the radio buttons were harder to press. Look pretty though. Good luck with the trade if you're still looking.
