new 320i owner - canberra
Hey guys,
I recently sold my 08 Mazda 3 mps and bought a 07 320i e90 as a daily. It doesnt sound like americans received e90s without angel eyes so i thought i could ask the question here.. i currently have boring halogen lights.. i want angel eyes. What options do i have? ebay has some decent ones but i dont know how easy it is to change those bulbs/rings etc. any info guys? |

As you might know OEM angel eyes use a system of light tubes.
There is a discussion in the classified section about them: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1011630 I'd imagine if you want the most authentic angel eyes you need to pick up some angel eye headlight assemblies from a wrecker or ebay. Should be a lot around I'd imagine. You can then upgrade all the old halogen lamps with high power LEDs to get a white angel eye effect as well as HID Xenon appearance at a fraction of the cost. A little while ago I was even looking at some high power LEDs which offer low and high beam setting though yet to see exactly how it works. |
