IMO that car underperformed and performed as I would expect a stock m3/4 to perform. as ASAP said, definitely doesn't appear to perform as a 480 whp car would.

what are the details on this car? octane, power etc?

^there is a better video from 3rd pull, just can't put it up no blur skills where Drvier kept a car lengths pace in front of the c7... Remember that thing weighs 3200lbs plus at least here a driver weighing maybe 140 vs two two guys over 170 each and we weigh what? 3495 or more?

Those things run mid 11s all day stock so I'm happy with the results dynos may not be telling for the c7 buts it's fasssssst

this was pull 9 of 10 back to back to back pulls

Figure my cars 410-420whp to start+40-50whp terry said [its even on the s55 install instructions for the basic stage 1] all that extra weight, slipping and run 9 of 10 it's a bout right...

The exhibited somewhat poor top end... nothing to do w down low rolls. If the car made 480 whp, it should have absolutely ran away. I am sticking w my guess that the car stock makes ~400 whp and here prob around 425. Still somewhat questionable because a JB4 on e85 N54 would have rana way from both of those cars at around 430 whp. I simply don't believe the M4's power even remotely. Also, don't race w others in the car... mount the camera.

Top end was at the limiter these were like 25ish to 150s runs.

Boss was like 35 to 130s

top end always wasn't something to write home about with this car

Lightest C7 is a 1LT non-51 which is 3300#

A 2LT Z51 is 3420-3440

There is a lot of evidence that 98% of the M4 dyno's are from high reading dyno's. This is yet another piece.

This, seems more like what I was expecting from a stock car vs these opponents. No way that car is making 480rwhp. I'd say 440-450 tops.

This was a 2l5 z51 + 140 [being generous lbs driver]

Vs. m4 with +430 [being generous, driver likes ice cream and pizza]

I agree on overrating... I think 405-420whp stock is about what the car is plus the weight, low rolls, amount of pulls... I'd say 450-465whp with the stage 1.

It will be at the track soon

Do C7's really run mid 11's? Is that on slicks/drag radials? All the 1/4 times I've seen for them were comparable to stock M3/4's ie low 12's.

A couple have run mid 11's stock, times slips posted on the vette forum.

Most run high 11's stock.
