Wheel spacer options

With all due respect to a certain German brand and a German-named brand highly advertised on this forum, I find the ones from Rogue Engineering to be superior. They are considerably lighter and have a groove to remove by prying if they become locked on. Also gorgeous to look at and don't give you that black stripe behind the wheel. They do accept 14mm lug bolts. And, they're made in the USA. I'm trying 12mm F&R to start. I am in no way affiliated with Rogue, just a happy customer.

Edit: The new spacers I just got are black anodized, not silver. Apparently this is standard now. You really can't see them however with the stock 19s.

I used rogue on my e90. I agree with you that the silver finish makes it very clean.

Interesting. I'd be curious as to the actual weight savings of the cut outs. I currently run Burger Motorsport spacers and have the same gripe about the black color.

Just a note, I'm pretty sure the "German" company you're referring to isn't actually German, just utilizing a German phrase as their name. I'll admit though, it's a cool logo/name.

Weight differences are posted in the website link I posted:

25% lighter than another US marketed brand and 40% than a common German brand. With so much focus on lightweight wheels, installing a wheel spacer in excess of 1 pound seems like a neglected oversight. Now, with our new design, you can have your spacer while adding minimal weight to the wheel assembly area.

I also have this comparison to H&R 12mm, 9.4 vs. 12.0 oz (22% less):

Cool. Every little bit helps! The pry groove sold me. I think I'll be using these next time around.

The set of lugs that came with the rogue spacers rusted. Thinking about getting a set of black or titanium lugs this time around.

Sounds like Rogue isn't shipping with the needed 14mm lug bolts, and they need to be bought elsewhere?

No photos - will do some. 12/12/ not as aggressive as some fitments, but less stuff being flung o the side of the car, too.

so, you'd say it's not to much at all? I wouldn't mind trying spacers out on the stocks till I get my rims in spring.

The +1/2" push outward is definitely noticeable w/o radically altering the suspension balance.

You guys suck! Now you making me think I need to throw away my newly ordered MS spacers and get these. Sigh.

Is there really going to be a difference between these spacers in real world?
