The new bumper looks good. It looks sort of like the 335 bumper. Real mean. Not really feeling the license plate placement though.

Just couldn't bring myself to drill into the new bumper... I know it won't appeal to everyone...

10x better looking! I can't stand to drill my front bumper either, so instead I pay the gov (in the form of tickets) to run without plates

Looks much more aggressive!

We are supposed to have a front plate in Ontario, and I haven't put one on yet (for the same reason).

Looks great; what was the total bill for all the goodies? Is it part number 51110149439 (Price 445$) ? Found that in my Z4 accessories catalog, labeled Front Spoiler.

That's it..

That's it.. It was $379 after the 15% club discount... Then it cost me $200 to get it painted. It comes with the three piece lower black grill and the BMW rondel. I've got the removal and replacement of these front bumpers down to about 15 minutes... All you do is push out 4 plastic rivets in each wheel well, remove 4 bolts from the bottom and remove 7 hex screws from the top and it just pops right off.... The funny thing was when I went to pick it up at the dealer... the box it came in was about 4 feet high, 4 feet wide and 7 feet long.... It was double boxed.. the boxes weighed 10 times what the bumper weighed... I simple took it out of the boxs and put it in my jeep and took it home...

Did you buy it from your local dealership? The price from CircleBMW and TischerBMW is 356$ + shipping of course. I'm guessing buying from the local dealership would be cheaper since you save on shipping charged but pay tax? I'm glad to hear the bumper comes with the grill inserts, one less thing to buy. However, for my car I'd have to pick up the fog lights as well at around 100$ each. You got your bumper painted for really cheap I'm expecting prices around 400-500$ in San Diego.

I got it at the local BMW dealer... there was no shipping, but I did pay 5% tax..

Looks awesome! As far as the plate, here in California I see lots of cars without the front plate. The only people I know that get tickets are those that leave the car parked outside on the street for the parking police to see. Don't think I've heard a cop pull anyone over for that specific reason.

-Edit: Just noticed your ballasts are in exactly the same place mine are. =D

Looks GREAT! In fact it looks as good if not better than our ///M front ends. I choose to run my car w/o a plate on front but thats a good idea for those who refuse to drill their bumpers.

Finally, have you consider to do so?

I'm thinking of doing this too, but i'm confused about how the front bumber fits with the Z4 coupe's fog lights (are rectangular not oval).

You would need to buy the round fog lights found in the pre-06 Z4s
