weirdest/best compliments on your ride?

saw a thread like this on the M3 forum and thought it would be funny for us lowly non M drivers to share some stories.

I'll start off with a few
weirdest would be a guy at a meet dead seriously asking me if my car was a real 335. lol

best one was last night after work I was driving home and pulled up next to a taxi with some guys that had probably gone out that night. passenger pulled down the window and with a huge smile says "that's a beautiful car that is mate" and asked me to take off at the lights, made me feel happy for some reason haha

also had a older woman check out my car while I was waiting for a mate in the city and she gave me a little nod and a wink haha (cougar time?)

share some stories!

Was walking out of a medical center and unlocked my car, and elderly gentleman said"that's a really nice car you have" made me feel good for someone of his age acknowledge my car

Dont have any weird ones thankfully

Was parked at a McDonalds grabbing a coffee when an old couple came along and the woman said"how could you park that beautiful car in this lot" they loved the look of it and worried it would get marred there.....was quite the compliment...sometimes I forget how beautiful of design this car is.
Made my day....felt like my car was much more luxurious than it is.

OK, this is in my camaro but its a good story nonetheless.

I was slowing down at an intersection with a traffic light and there were some pedestrians (guys) waiting to cross the street. Their jaws dropped and one of them got down on one knee and yelled "will you marry me?? I love your car". I yelled out "sorry, I'm not gay". He yelled back "Neither am I".

I'm badgeless so people always ask what car is it. Usually just troll and say its a 325, wanna race?

Compliments are really nice to hear though, sometimes you forget how nice your ride is and you need to step back and take a lot at her or at some nice pics you've taken. I've been in love with this shape since the first model came out in 2006.

done that a few times now, older guy in a A45 was like "wtf how'd that 325 keep up with me" haha
