The feature available in the US and Canada only switches the high beams on and off when approaching other vehicles.

The feature that is disabled in North America is the "split beam" functionality where the high beams stay on but a "blacked out" spot in the light projection is made around other vehicles. It is an amazing technology and it is a shame our retarded regulators are not permitting it.

The high beam assistant feature is default "off" on at startup, coding can enable the feature to be in the default "on" position.
