Grill swap
If I purchase blacked out grills, can I just yank the chrome ones out by hand with brute redneck strength like I did the 1 series if I don't care about breaking the clips on the chrome set? Anyone performed the swap this way?

I replaced mine last night in about 20 minutes. Very easy with only minor scratches to my arm. Search the DIY section, there's a link there with detailed instructions.
Will probably sell the oem ones to recovery most of the cost of the new black ones. |

I'm not questioning swapping the grills just wondering why you want to destroy the old ones when you can get them out relatively easy without breaking them

I'll give it a whirl using the proper method, I just remember the 1 series I had drove me insane, maybe the 2'er is a bit easier!
