ONEighty Presents: BLK-OUT M3/M4 LED Headlights
With the recent release of BMW's full LED equipped headlights, we've been feeling a bit intimidated by what the lies ahead for us in the aftermarket BMW headlight industry. The new designs come equipped with every possible feature, and color bulb any true enthusiast would want, so whats left for improvement?
Well... we finally had a crack at it. With a brand new set from a 2015 BMW M3, from our great customer Eric and his outrageous F80 M3 Safety Car. Eric is a man of many styles & wild imaginations, as witnessed with his previous E90 M3 build which we also had a pleasure of building a set of headlights featuring Dual Bi-Xenon Projector Retrofit & various cosmetic modifications. Planning a head of time for many more different phases to come for his F80 M3, as well as a short time frame, the first phase for his lights was subtle. Upon splitting these open, and dissecting these lights to the last screw and wire, we've found some interesting things that allows us to implement some sweet improvements, and we'll keep you guys posted on it as soon as we try it I'll let the rest of the photos do the talking. Looks awesome! Quick question regarding removing the lens from the actual headlight housing. Were you able to remove it without cutting the edges off? I've seen some other companies simply cut the lens around the edge to gain access inside then once they are done they simply line it up and put a ton of epoxy on to seal it.

The lights are sealed using factory re-sealable headlight adhesive that was used in E9x M3 headlights. If the customer ever decides to change things up, or do any upgrades, we can easily separate the lens and perform the work while maintaining a perfect seal against any moisture or condensation. Once sealed, one could hardly tell that the lights were ever opened. That's a huge part of our process, avoiding all compromises we can. |

Loved watching this unfold on Instagram. I'm amazed at how quickly you all did this, but even more impressed with how it turned out.
It looks absolutely outstanding! My biggest gripe is how much silver is in these OEM headlights compared to other models (F10 or even the E92) and on a black car it especially bothers me with the contrast. I can't wait to see these on BSM. Truly a must have in my opinion! Totally doing this if/when I get an M4. Excellent work one eighty!! |

Ok, so I will say that typically I can't stand any adjustment of stock on headlights/taillights. I've just never seen anyone do it right. And this is coming from an avid modder. However that looks legit!! It looks great on his car but it would look even more amazing on a murdered out all black M3/M4. Like the car next to it in your last picture.

Tempting. Chrome is almost as bad as beige.

that is VERY SICK. Love it!
Question: Will you be doing a Core-Exchange with the Purchase of these head lights? (i.e customer shipping you their silver headlights, and you ship them the black ones + $$$$). |

This setup is gorgeous! Well done.
Do you want to give hints on anybody else that wants to DIY? Did you throw these in the oven to heat up the adhesive? I'm thinking back to my JDM days where sticking your headlights in your oven to disassemble the headlight assembly's is very common. |

God damn. You guys just perfected the one thing I disliked about the new M's front end. The white'ish headlights. You're gonna make bank with these.
Now if only you could fix that hood line lol |
