YMB M3 DCT saloon project
Hi all,
As some of you might know.. placed an order of the new M3 saloon DCT in YMB. Am looking to do the following (car protection): 1) New paint protection x2 days work 2) 3M Ventureshield or Suntek paint protection for the front Can the M3 logo be removed from the kidney grill and rear safely? Change the pedals to steel ones Looking for M performance parts or to order it via the US IND (to dechrome into glossy black). Next year, look to change the exhaust with carbon diffuser... |

i have ordered all of my grills and side gills from the USA - they are significantly cheaper than the UK.
Would buy other parts from USA if shipping cost was a little more economical - annoys me that parts made in Germany, sent to USA and back and they are still more than 30% cheaper than we can buy them! |

Ah ok.. thanks for that :-)
The surround view useful for avoiding wheel curbing? Live in Marlow.. driving thru the Marlow bridge has bollards, which is a nightmare.. was wondering if driving in < 20mph with the camera on possible? |

Extended storage pack - any good?
Is it worth getting? just that with my weekly food shop in the boot.. might fly around. Was wondering if it's handy to have one of those for ease of storage? |

yes the surround view is very helpful in my view, but I'm rubbish at parking. It also include automatic parking which is very cool, the car parks itself!
If you want to remove the front M badge, your best option is to order a set of M performance BMW grills from a regular three series instead of the M3. You can remove the badge with dental floss quite easily. Cheers, Neil.

Anyone seen a YMB M3 saloon with carbon bits fitted in the front? i.e. splitter and wing mirrors?
Can't seem to find any online so far.. they suit the whites, hopefully for YMB as well? |
