18" aftermarket wheels

I'm kindly requesting pics of folks running 18" aftermarket wheels. I'm thinking of switching back to 18.

I'm thinking about doing the same, going back to 18's instead of the 19's when the tires start wearing out. The handling on the car suffered a bit with 19's. It's a hard decision because the car looks good with 19's. Considering doing a modest drop. Curious to hear your reason to change.

I kept the diameter close to stock. The car seems to handle the same.

I want a light set of wheels and more tire. The low pros look good but I think the sidewalls need to big a tad bigger.

I'm considering the 18" Fondmetal 9RR in titanium or matte black. They only come in a +40 offset so not sure how this would work. http://www.getyourwheels.com/view-wh...l-9rr-titanium

Once KW creates a sleeve over for the 2 series i'll be picking out a wheel. I think 18" is the way to go on this platform but definitely needs a solid drop to support it. Depending on the style of wheel 19" seems a little "blingy" on the 2 series. To each his own of course!

It's disappointing that the wheel selection for this car has been pretty terrible.

We just set our customer up with a set of 18" staggered M310s, they fit perfectly, see the full photoshoot here!

@getyourwheels

How deep will the lip be on these 18x9? The offset is not provided on the site.

Those F140s are actually custom built to order 3 piece wheels, so lip size varies from vehicle to vehicle.
On the F22, we could probably build the wheels for a 1.5-2" lip in front with a 2-2.5" lip in rear.

The rear is a 9" wide, we would have put a 255 on the rear if it was a 9.5".
We didnt want the tire to bubble out too much so that it would leave him some room to lower the car if he wanted to.
The 245 fits square with no stretch, and a larger tire would be very close to rubbing if he were to lower the car.

Plus the 225/40/18 245/35/18 is recommended to keep the same overall diameter.

You're most likely running your 255/30/19 on a 9.5"
We're running a 245 on the 9" wheel

So both setups will fit square on their respective widths.

I'd also recommend a 255/30/19 on a 19x9.5 wheel, so I'm sure yours fits great.

These are 2 different setups that both work
