XPEL, reasonable price?

Here's what I'm being quoted. Does this look inline with what others have paid?

(I'm in the DC metro area)

"Complete Package" $1095
Hood, Fender and Mirror Protection (add $900 for full hood/fender protection)
Bumper Protection
Headlight and Foglight Protection

That seems really high for partial hood and partial fenders. What about mirrors?

Should really do full hood, full fenders, bumper, and mirrors.

Do full everything or you will regret it. I did full expel for $100 less than you were quoted and I am happy to not get rock chips past my clear bra.

Were you quoted $100 less than that or $100 less than the $1100 I'm being quoted for partial?

OP's price seemed high for what he was getting and yours seems high also. I got full hood, full fenders, bumper, and mirrors for $1250. There are other threads covering this topic and I think $1100 - 1200 seems to be the going rate.

I got two quotes in NJ for full front... $1400 and $2000. That is too much for me.

Got mine for full hood, fenders, headlights, and trunk lip for 1250. I've gotten quotes from 1100 to 2400 though. I should have mine installed this Saturday.

Yes they are doing the mirrors though I'm back and forth since I'm not sure if I'll do the carbon mirror caps. Though I'm putting the clear bra on before my front lip and carbon splitters, and that also has me concerned.

Some of the variation in pricing might be due to one shop doing a custom install vs. a precut kit.

I got quoted $1200 for a pre-fab kit which I don't want. I cant find anyone in Atlanta to do a custom cut with XPEL film. Pretty annoyed.

Generally about $1200 for the windshield forward including mirrors is about right. $2K seems really high to me.

I agree a custom cut with a person who knows what they are doing is much better then pre-fab kits. Unfortunately for mine it is a mix of pre-fab and custom cuts, and I should have told them to do it completely custom. The person who did the custom cuts really knew what they where doing and you can see the level of detail when he did it.

I didn't know enough about the product to ask that question when I was on the phone, but I did ask about coverage. He told me all corners will be wrapped where accessible and the only places that would not have coverage would possibly be in the front bumper in the deep recesses, at most it would be only 1/8th inch away from inner grill or wherever it was not accessible. Sounded good enough to me.

If your interested I can ask him about a better deal in exchange for 2x the business. PM me if you want to explore this.

Remember one thing: the installer is the most important aspect of a clear bra install; much more important than the film. Sometimes you get what you pay for! Ask local members of the CCA or PCA who they would recommend.
