NOT REQUIRED: 1 Series Navigation Dash

Hey guys,

Probably a long shot, im chasing a 1 series dash board has to have had nav in it before, can be new, used or exploded from an accident car, basically only want it for a project to retrofit navigation to the car.

the part i need is off the lower part of the dash were the radio stack is but will take a complete dash also.

Cheers.

You could also use a standard dash with a storage tray or cutout template...? All the same afaik.

you're right the controls have a different layout but non nav cars can still do a nav upgrade using the same dash otherwise if you had to replace the dashboard also it would be a pita and not even worth the hassle.

so are you after the controls or the dashboard itself? there's a dashboard for sale on ebay last I checked can't remember if it had nav previously or not but like I said I am pretty certain all the dashboards are the same regardless of control layout...

They are very different. Where the guides are for the radio/hard drive etc. Those who have tried to retro fit please speak up.

no probs, I'm willing to take your word for it as you've probably done more research than I have on it.
