M235i dyno and Track results - 115mph

First I would like to thank M.R. Performance in Westbury, NY for all the help in installing and getting down to the track. I would also like to thank Terry for a great product and dealing with my emails back and forth. Now for the car:

2014 M235i RWD
8 speed Auto
JB4 with Flex Fuel wires and EWG wires - runs on Map 7 with 2 gallons E85 to full tank.
VRSF ********
Wheels stock
Tires Stock Run Flats - biggest thing holding car back
stock charger pipe

Results using Mustang Dyno (about 12% less then DynoJet):
Stock run: 309hp / 340 tq
Map 7: 368hp / 444tq
Map 6 was tested but was inconsistent with boost spike and fuel pumps struggling so for now will wait until meth is added. I can say there is room for power increase though.

Track results:
Again the run flats are the weakest link here but see the attached time slips.
We were able to keep increasing MPH with each run, but wheel spin was a killer. Also forgot to give a 2nd gear launch a try.

12.4 at 115 mph though is looking good. Time slips attached

Please follow and I will update with more results and future plans.

Badass. That's stock C5 Z06 speed with just a JB4 and dp. Awesome.

But don't sell yourself short...might as well call 115.92 a solid 116.

59 more HP and 104 more torque for probably under $1500 in parts is fantastic! If you do a lot of the E85 mix and Map 7, or switch to Map 6 with Meth you might want to invest in a new charge pipe before you have replace the blown stock one

Did you get interval trap speeds from your run you can post up. Like to see your run from start to finish.

Yea the time slips should show 1/8 and 1000 foot. I will be doing the chargepipe and meth next before playing around with map 6 and even beating on map 7 much more.

Sounds like this will easily put your head back into the seat with that much torque. I can't see the attachments, but it would be cool to see the torque curve.

Very inpressive. Awesome bang for your buck gains over stock. Some good sticky tires would be pretty damn interesting.

shifting was done at 6500 -6800.. Getting the launch down and good set of tires will really make the car shine.

I bet if you wanted to be in the 11's you could get there with tires and limited slip differential.

Stock run 309 on a MUSTANG DYNO..wow I'm seeing most dyno well under 300 on a dynojet. What fuel were you running?

nice end results but you are saying that the Mustang reads 12% lower... which would put you at 346hp at the wheels, stock.. that did NOT happen.

also, was the 'stock' dyno run with the downpipe installed or was that tested on a different day? if so, the comparison is a bit skewed due to different run conditions.

304 hp was with car completely stock.. and roughly 12% will be comparing on a dyno get in the future more or less looking at numbers and difference from upgrade to upgrade. So far not disappointing.

It would be best if you keep going to the same dyno you measured your car with stock to see power gains with different mods. Not saying don't dyno on a dynojet but you have a baseline dyno of your car stock on a particular dyno so that is the best one to keep using for the upgrade to upgrade measurements imo....

Dayum!
Nice to see other track times too.
That is 418/500 on a Dyno jet if you use 12%.
I made 403/450 with similar mod on E30 and have run a best of 12.35@114 with slightly better 60 ft in 1300 ft DA.
12.39@112 in 3000 ft so car does not seem to be affected by DA much at least ET wise.
What was the DA?
Thinking about catless down pipe and sticky tires to try and get a 11 sec pass but afraid of breaking something if the tires hook too well.
-my 800 rwhp M6 mustang just snapped by "Unbreakable"CF drive shaft(rated to 900 Hp lol) in half with slicks.

Gear 6 is 1:1 but don't think it matters much (could do 5th) as long as you do all comparison runs in the same gear. 6th will result in some pretty high wheel speeds at redline.
