Acute Performance | Carbon Fiber Gear Surround Install

Tools Needed
- Dental Floss
- Torx T8

Time Required - 15-30 minutes

Difficulty - Easy

STEP 1
Slide the floss under the gear selector emblem. I found the best way to get it under was from the left side and then just pull the dental floss back and forth until the emblem comes off.



STEP 2
Here's what it looks like off.



STEP 3
You'll use a Torx T8 to remove the screw.



STEP 4
In this picture you can see how all the pieces fit together. The top part is the black black piece, middle is the trim, and bottom is the actual PCB.



STEP5
When putting it back, first put the PCB board onto the actual shifter, then the trim and black piece. If you try sticking the PCB onto the trim and black piece first, it won't all fit properly.
