FS: BMW Motorola RAZR Cradle
I bought a iPhone for Christmas and no longer need the BMW Motorola RAZR cradle I installed in my 07 335i Coupe. It was installed for 7 months and worked well. It appeared to help with signal strength and was a good charging alternative on road trips. Asking price is $200.00, I pay shipping. I do not have the installation instructions; I used the DIY forum to help me determine how to install it. It is a relatively easy installation in a 335i Coupe. I prefer to sell in the US only. Thanks, avionics12 |

While it is true that the adapter is $120 at Circle (where I bought this by the way) you will also need the eject box which is $111. See the partial invoice from my purchase.

Gotcha - now it all makes sense - thanks for the update - still thinking about it, just have to figure out how long I am going to keep my RAZR also.

Hate to kill my own sale but if you are thinking about upgrading, test drive an iPhone. It is amazing; can't put the darn thing down and it syncs seamlessly with my E92. The phone list that is displayed is much better also.

I actually have an iphone also (but my wife has the RAZR and drive the car more). The iphone is completely love hate for my - the device is very cool and navigation with it is awesome and I love the UI, but the signal strength is a little low compared to other devices and the things just outright sucks for email compared to blackberries and smart phones. It does do push, so only syncs ever 15 minutes (and seems to forget to do that most of the time) and doesn't sync contacts or calendar without using the cable and itunes to do it. I think it is great for most people, but just doesn't come close for business use. I will probably go back to a blackberry or mobile 5 device in the new year!

One more question about this - it mounts inside the armrest correct? Can you still access any thing else in there easily or does it take up all the room? I have the ipod/usb option and am just wondering if I can still get to that easily in the bottom of the arm rest.

The RAZR cradle assembly takes up all of the room on the right hand side, inside the armrest.
I have an 80g iPod that is stored inside the BMW pouch that mounts to the top of the armrest. This leaves a little room for storage, but not much. |

Besides charging the phone are there any other benefits?
