Paint chip

Hey all…what are you guys/gals using to repair paint chips? My M4 has a small, but relatively deep chip, which exposes the silver/gray metal underneath the paint on the hood. I've got 2 other more superficial chips on the front bumper too (the more you look, the more you find).

That's why so many of us got 3M/XPEL protection on the front.

How easy yours is to fix, depends on the color of your car, particularly if it si metallic or not. You can do it yourself with a good product like Dr. Colorchip www.drcolorchip.com or any good paint shop can help.

Doesn't BMW make a paint repair kit? Has anyone used it.

I have a linear scatch on my BSM. Not sure If I should try to touch it up or just ignore for now.

I'm on my third BSM BMW and I've always used Dr Colorchip with great results. I'm a total impatient klutz so I always make a mess with factory touch up paints but Dr Colorchip is pretty much fool proof.
