Carbon Fiber Splitter Question

Do you have to get the front lip spoiler to have the splitters?

Or can you just do the splitters without the lip?

Thought I knew the answer (don't need both), but now I'm not so sure...

You can have either one on without the other. Just a quick note, if you install only the lip there's a little gap where the cf splitter suppose to sit.

You can just install carbon fiber pieces.
Don't do it the other way (install lip without cf splitter) because gap is ugly.

Are there any pic of "the other way around" where only the lip is installed? I'm curious
