I wanted to do mine DIY but the splitters are not a 100% fit. Some modification will be required. Make sure to buy some double sided 3M tape before you approach the project.

Yours don't fit properly? Did you get them from BMW? I haven't tried to fit mine up yet to see how the fit.

I didn't attempt it yet. I just installed my KW coil overs this past weekend so I'm gonna wait a lil bit before I put the splitters on. Did you get the lip also?

I'm getting mines on wednesday and I will be installing that at my place this Sat or Sun and if you want you are welcome to come over to do the diy. I have double side tape or whatever you need to install it.

Oh really? do you have a drill too? that would be cool I was just about to make an appointment at Alekshop for Friday. Are you going to the Euro meet at the Berkeley Marina on Saturday? starts at noon

Yeah. I have a drill and probably everything we need to install it. By no means I'm a professional and Alekshop will definitely do a better job than I can ever do though. I just like to DIY and I don't mind helping others if they feel comfortable.

I'm not too sure if I should go to that meet. I may if I install my lip in time though.

Ahh, crap! I just saw this. Should've PM'ed me

I'm almost done with my splitter and lip install and I can tell you if you're just installing the splitter you do not need to drill anything. Double side tape and 1 bolt and that's it!

it's cool, I got it done at Alekshop. Now that I have the cf splitter I really want the lip now lol

Cool! You have any pics? Mines have a small gap and no matter what I do it won't stay flush.

Your gaps are actually quite small compared to mines and you have a white car which shows the line way more than the darker ones.

I'm going to redo it when the rivets arrive and possibly paint the lip.

Have you tried pressing the back of the splitter underneath your black intake vents to make the splitter more flush?
