Is it normal to NOT have a check engine light after installing Catless Downpipe?
Hey guys I installed my catless downpipe yesterday, plugged in the o2 sensors and all that. It's been a day and my check engine light has not came on. I'm not sure if this is good or bad. I'm glad it's not on, but worried if I did something wrong? Any ideas? lol

Mine never came on after my dp install either. I'm guess the cobb has the dp fix built in.

after i installed my catless dp i decided to turn my jb4 off for daily driving thinking i might save on gas. had it off for a few days then one day i was driving home from work and i got a check engine light. scared the hell outta me then i remembered that i turned my jb4 off. turned it back on and it instantly went away. it might just be a matter of time before it turns on, mine took a little while.

no problem man, if you installed something wrong you would have had some code come up for sure since the dme wouldnt be getting any signal from the sensors. hopefully you get the jb4 installed before it comes up, i dont know about you but with me a CEL even when i know what it is for just doesnt sit right with me haha

Ya it's normal to not get a CEL at first. When you drive your car around more, it will eventually will come on. I removed my tune for the vanos recall and the CEL never came on. That's because the dealership is only 2 miles away.
