M performance mats

Anybody have or like the look of M performance mats? The ones that come with the car are of very poor quality as compared to recent M year?

I had them on my E92, while they where good quality and protected they where a tad ugly. But after 3 years of using them, they did a really good job in protecting the carpets and where easy to wash. I especially liked them when I spilled coffee all over the place. The cup holders on the e92 weren't the best designs for coffee cups.

Thanks, and glad to hear at least they do protect the carpeting and clean up well.

As I dislike the ones that come with the F80, they offered me M performance at no cost. I looked them up online, are you are correct, based on drawings they are kind of ugly, mainly grey with black strips along the side and I think M performance embossed vertically on the left. Should clash rather nicely with my SO.

I think with SO interior the f30 red trim sport line mats look well. They will be a perfect fit. Here's a pic with Coral interior. I personally will probably go with the m performance because it'll compliment SS interior well (either that or just weathertech). I just don't particularly like the m performance logo either. I wish these mats came with a blue trim.

Those black rubbers are a winner. Add an //M badge and you would have perfection.

I was at the dealership the other day and saw an order of these heading out and they are actually pretty cool looking in person. I think with the black/white/grey interiors they will look sharp but with the tan/SO/Red colors would look a little off IMO

I've got them in my MW/SO M4 and think that they look great. However, as the grey color is so light they soil very quickly. Still, overall I like them.

I agree the ones that come with the car are not the quality I expected. Between those and tthe headliner, I see where BMW saved some $$.

I would still prefer all black mats to match the black interior. The grey ones look nice, but I'd have to see them in person before making that purchase.

I have the m perf floor mats and I love them. They don't collect dust and dirt and with my silverstone interior the black and while colors go perfect. They would look ok on a black or white car with black interior as well. Other than that they kinda clash with other combos.

Always thought WeatherTechs were good. Better quality than OEM rubber mats, at least for Mercedes.

I have the Performance mats. Works fine but gets dirty on the grey sections. Also I think the will be useless once the snow goes into water and there is no place for the water besides spill off the mat and out into the carpet.

Ok, just got the mats installed at the dealership. I like them, they go nicely with my black interior, for some reason the blk & grey look really nice with the ///M Performance on the side. The mats are made of some type of nylon over a rubber bottom, holding on to the carpet floor without movement. The top surface works well with my rubber bottom loafers, great traction with no rug pile interference. Sounds funny but it works. So, if you can get them for free, don't hesitate, they are surely much better than the ones that come with the car. Pointing out how bad the OEM ones are, is a winning strategy that any dealership associate can't defend once you see what comes in the car compared to earlier M series mats that were included.
