IND Carbon Mirror Caps Vs BMW Performance

Before I pull the trigger on these what is the difference between the 2 brands?

The IND's are cheaper but does that mean cheaper quality vs the BMW performance one's.

have had carbon from both, quality is very alike, best part about the IND stuff is the great support from IND themselves.

I have IND on my car now and prefer them to the BMW performance for the simple fact that the IND match with the carbon fiber roof.

IND quality is awesome.

If you are going with all the other BMW M Performance parts then you may want to consider the BMW ones. Otherwise choose the IND ones.

IND CF mirror caps are 1x1 CF weave as is the roof on our cars. All other BMW M Performance stuff is 2x2 weave.

I'm getting all the Vorsteiner CF parts which are 1x1 weave so I chose the IND mirror caps.

Ordered the IND ones. The BMW performance parts are expensive in relation to the IND stuff (for the most part).

Note if you got the carbon fiber in the interior its 2x2.

Is there any pics with both of them installed? I've seen a couple of the M Performance mirrors but none of the IND actually installed

I should have some shots up next week. Car is in the shop getting it done now.

Aren't the ind ones a carbon fiber wrap over a regular mirror cover then clear coated ? It's not complete carbon fiber like the BMW ones.

That is correct, and also why we can guarantee a perfect fit.

I did see that comparison thread but it's such a closeup I can't tell what it truly looks like. I probably would have bought the ones through IND since it matches the exterior carbon fiber on the M4 as well as my Vorsteiner front lip and rear diffuser but I found a new pair of M Performance mirror caps for only $600 so I couldn't resist the low price lol
