Any performance changes after 1200 mile service?

My car has only done 450 miles so I have a while yet to complete the run-in.
I find it odd that due to all the torque from the engine below the recommended running-in revs, it feels like there won't be any further benefit using the whole rev range post the 1200 mile service, unlike the E9x.
Local dealer said the test mule is even quicker now the 1200 mile service has been done. Not sure if that's true..
So to those who have had first service, other than activating Launch Control, are there any performance gains?

Whatever, I'm just looking forward to not having to keep an eye on revs during keen driving

Bob

I'm sure I saw 130 @ 4000rpm on a 'track' recently...

I drove 105 for 3 miles on interstate this weekend. Car handles so well no brakes are needed for interstate turns. It's awesome.

I have done just less than 8k miles now and I think that its a little faster now. It could of course just be me understanding the quirks and subtleties of the beast re torque, traction and throttle action.
